Terms and Conditions of Use – SureCert Free ISO 9001 Certification

1. Eligibility

To be eligible for the free certification service:

  • You must be an authorised representative of a legitimate, verifiable business.
  • Your business must have a publicly identifiable presence (e.g. Companies House listing, verifiable website, or other acceptable means).
  • You must agree to receive all system communications, including promotional and product-related messages, via email.

2. Nature of Certification

The SureCert service provides evidence-based verification of ISO 9001 compliance.

  • This is not a self-certification. You are required to complete structured questionnaires and submit supporting documentation for review.
  • Your inputs will be stored and reviewed for completeness and sufficiency to issue a certificate of conformance.
  • The certificate will reflect your business’s claim to ISO 9001 alignment, supported by the evidence submitted.

3. Accreditation Disclaimer

  • SureCert is not accredited under ISO/IEC 17021.
  • As such, this certification is not recognised by UKAS or other national accreditation bodies.
  • It is intended as a starter certification to demonstrate system implementation and may be accepted by customers or suppliers at their discretion.

4. Certificate Control and Validity

  • All certificates are issued directly by SureCert and remain under our control.
  • Certificates are valid for a period of 18 months, after which a new evidence submission is required to renew.
  • You may not edit, recreate, or misrepresent any certificate issued.

5. Communications and Marketing Consent

As a condition of receiving the free service, you consent to:

  • Receiving informational, system-related, and promotional emails from SureCert and Zebsoft Productivity Systems Limited.
  • Being contacted regarding upgrades, paid services, support offerings, and advanced certification options, including accredited audits.

You may not unsubscribe from system communications while using the free certification service.

6. Misuse or Misrepresentation

We reserve the right to revoke or invalidate any issued certificate if:

  • False or misleading information has been provided.
  • Your business cannot be verified or is found to be misusing the certificate.
  • You breach these Terms in any material way.

7. Upgrades and Paid Certification Options

  • The free certification service currently covers ISO 9001 only.
  • Other standards (e.g. ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001) are available through the Zebsoft management system, and may require additional verification, paid plans, or remote audit.

8. Privacy and Data Use

All information provided will be used solely for the purpose of validating your certification. For full details, refer to our

9. General Terms

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
  • SureCert reserves the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
